"Champion" Movie Reflection

 Introduction: This will be the Reflection of the Movie Champion that me and my teammates created where I go over every step that I went through to create this Movie.

This is the end result of our hard work, the movie that me and the people at Iron Maiden Production worked so hard to complete  and Post.

We had people from other group tell us what we should fix to make the scene be more believable and menacing, Unfortunately we had to change one of the actor and his name due to the fact that he was unavailable for the reshoot, but we had a good vonlunteer who managed to help us improve our movie

First Draft Feedback

 

The influx of feedback from diverse voices added a vibrant dimension to our creative process. Among the multitude of opinions, a recurring theme emerged: our project bore a striking resemblance to the legendary Rocky movies. This alignment was precisely what I had strived for, aiming to infuse our narrative with the timeless appeal of the iconic franchise. Hearing these comparisons echoed our success in capturing the essence of Rocky, validating our efforts to pay homage to its enduring legacy. With each comment drawing parallels, we felt a surge of pride, knowing that our vision had resonated with audiences, evoking the same emotional intensity and nostalgia as the beloved classics.

First Draft

 After so long our first draft is finally here, this still the first draft and there is still a lot to improve to make the movie what it should be.

Visual editing decision

 Ever wondered how a jumble of scenes turns into a gripping story on screen? That's the magic of editing in film! In this blog post, we're pulling back the curtain on the wizardry behind the scenes. From seamlessly blending shots to dialing in just the right mood with sound, every snip and tweak plays a vital role in bringing stories to life. Join us as we spill the beans on the visual and sound editing decisions that breathed life into our 2-minute videos. It's time to discover the secrets that make movie magic happen!        Lavelle W and Jaiden were the editors but we made 2 versions. For the visuals, I added in the text as a different screen and Lavelle W made his on screen. As well, the production logo and opening credits were in a normal font in Lavelle's version. We both made the flashback scenes black and white. We ended up with Lavelle's version because mine admittedly looked like a trailer. We had a great time editing the movie and we even ended with 2 separate version for the movie which we had to decide which one was better but in the end, they fused them together.

Behind the Scenes 2

today was a lot of the filming. We started off in the morning where I filmed the hallway scene with Lavelle W, Luca M, and Trent. After that in the afternoon we filmed the flashback scenes where I filmed Hugues P and Lavelle W. Lastly, we filmed the last scene where Hugues P filmed Lavelle W and I. These Scenes were unfortunately cut from the actual movie
 

Blooper 2

 

Production: Location, location, location

 Since it's a boxing movie we will of course film at the gym. It is also a teen movie so half of it will be filmed on campus in a hallway and outside on benches. This is done to fit the style of a teen boxing movie. 

Behind the scenes

  Lavelle W and Jayden were the 2 people who had to film in the gym today. I used my tripod since there was no cameraman and I forgot the one prop we were using, a snicker's bar, however thankfully we decided to cut the second half of the gym scene where the prop was used. Other than that it was a successful day with no big issues at Crunch Fitness where we filmed.
