We chose comedy because making people laugh is our forte, while the addition of boxing adds an exciting element to the mix. Our target audience includes teens, comedy lovers, and boxing fans, aiming to entertain and engage a diverse range of viewers with our unique blend of humor and sports action The targeted audience is Teens and boxings fans.  And it isnt really niche, in fact What audiences tend to enjoy the genre of text that you intend to produce. The film is mainstream. It doesn’t really do anything that people wouldn’t expect.

  • From the peer review I gathered that our movie idea isn’t awful and people do in fact enjoy it. When asking a group of kids our age they stated that the idea was interesting, the comedy is what made the idea different according to them.

  • In the questionnaire we found that people still have a small interest for boxing movies as long as it has an interesting idea. We found that boxing isn’t totally outdated and has an audience, albeit a bit of a niche audience.

When seeing other boxing movies, particularly in Big George Foreman, we saw that they share a lot of things. From themes of courage and strength to the slow motion shots of the boxers.

For this assignment, our production company, Iron Maiden Productions and I chose Big George Foreman as our movie to research. It’s a boxing film, the opening is nice and short, the opening is actually a good opening, and it relates to our movie and the struggles about living and moving forward. It’ll relate to our boxing movie called “Champion”
