Developing a film

 

A logline is a one-sentence summary or description of a movie. Loglines incorporate the important elements of your screenplay such as the main character, setup, central conflict, antagonist. Structure: [protagonist] + [inciting incident] + [protagonist’s goal] + [central conflict].  Example: Logline: "A young man is transported to the past, where he must reunite his parents before he and his future cease to exist."
Develop a logline for your movie.

Define the logline for your film. Ideas should be clear, concise, and enticing.
Logline: Travis Johnson who lost his brother in aboxing matche wishes to avenge him by defeating the man who killed his brother in the ring.
Summarize the entire plot of your film objective. Write a paragraph that summarizes the film opening in 5 lines.  Directions:  Begin your paragraph using your logline.  Indicate the Setting; where (location, landscape (indoor/outdoor), and when (time period).  Identify the critical moment or event where there is an opportunity for characters to interact—E.g., graduation parties, team practice, falling in the hallway, fight in the hallway, large social gatherings, etc.  Define the hook of the film's opening. E.g., blood on the floor, a mysterious entity, someone screams or says sometimes that takes the main character on a journey.  Write in the style of the movie's genre. Use language and words that elicit feelings associated with the tone of your story's genre. For example, a horror movie should indicate how terrifying the script is.

The man ho killed his rother goes to his school. They eventually cross path where Big Ben Douglas Provoked Travis causing for a major fight to happen which Travis Looses. Feeling Humiliated he started training to than eventually face the Guy who killed his brother.
